Who doesn’t like creme eggs? You definitely will after reading this.
Egg lovers around the UK will have to get their mits on a white egg, but they’ll be packaged exactly the same as the classic one.
The eggs are exactly the same as the original version with the fondant yolk but the shell will be white chocolate and the eggs are already available to buy in shops including newsagents and will be around until April 1.
There are 370 white eggs around and if you’re lucky enough to get your hands on one, you could win £2,000.
Of course, it’s not as easy as that. There’s only one egg worth £2,000 and 34 eggs worth £1,000. The rest will be worth £100.
If you’re lucky enough to get your hands on one of these eggs then you must keep the voucher to claim your price.
You have to be over the age of 16, so if the egg is found by a ‘young person’ then they need their parent or guardian to claim the price.
Here’s where you can find a white Cadbury’s creme egg:
- Independent retailers – 13 white eggs worth £1,000 and 78 worth £100. One egg worth £1,000 will be released somewhere in main land UK each week, over 13 weeks.
- Sainsbury’s Local – 14 eggs worth £1,000 and 84 worth £100. One egg worth £1,000 each week of 14 weeks.
- Co-op – 1 egg worth £2,000 and 90 worth £200. No indication of when the £2,000 egg will go on sale.
- Tesco – 7 eggs worth £1,000 and 84 worth £100.
A creme egg costs £0.58p and a pack of five costs £2.85.
